I disagree, questing and grinding is good fun. But perhaps find a server that offer the experience you're looking for. I am sure they exist

Why should I search for another server? Instead why don't you go to HC server and play there for leveling and questing?
Stop trying to enforce the highly unwanted rules on the PVP server. Go quest where questing is supposed to be the main gameplay, if you like it so much

I don't want HC rules on the PvP server, that's an absurd notion to me. I can questing and grinding here is good fun, partly because it is a PvP server. A server which ONLY DIFFERENCE with a PvE server is that the faction war is real, thus WPvP is possible in all forms it might take.

And what dev shared his design philosophy with you?
You talking like there is some written in stone rule and we all ask to break it. The thing is that there is no such rule, Kestrel himself told that he is personally ok with x2 xp on PVP server, but there are some other devs who are against it.
Stop pretending that you know what is better for us, the majority of pvp players on the server. Go play your great leveling game where it is supposed to be played, and leave us playing our filthy lvl 60 PVP here.

And if you still want to play leveling game here, you can do so even with x2 xp, just make it slow and steady
