Really looking forward to release, can't be bothered to go all out in the beta. Going for NE druid, tried the Skyborn but the racials are not good. Wild growth is one of my favorite spells, going to be awesome ^^

Idk what was so complex about energy generating at 20 every few ticks.

I think the complex part was the fact when we would be off 1 energy because of a bug.

I played turtle, a lot. I was sad when it shut down.
I play here, since the very start of octo. Basically day one.
I do not feel as if I am being treated with contempt.

They defended their IP, copied a bunch of ideas. And made a thing of their own. Absoutely in their right to do.
Some people should go outside an touch grass instead of bitching about it in an online forum and getting off while feeling superior than another playerbase that enjoys something different then them...

Where is that strange need to tell people what to do and what to say on forums comes from? You essentially said "Just shut up and play Octo, and don't criticize Forever" , "go touch gras and stop bitching". I suppose concept of forum is absolutely alien to you.

If your baseline response is "You don't have to play Forever, so don't bitch about it" then my rebuttal is "if you dislike this thread, then don't click on it, and don't read it" if it upsets you so much, put it on ignore, whatever.

Many of us invested years to this franchise, and forums are a means to discuss about the state of franchise.
This thread is dedicated to talk about Forever, say what people noticed, write their predictions, and and yes criticise too. Your opinion is not better than others, you may disagree with others, deem their concerns as invalid, and you're welcome to provide counter arguments, but you have absolutely no right to tell others to shut up.

I have absolutely no problem with talking about and criticising something.

But this has basically devolved into a blizzard hate circlejerk where people just shit on the idea of forever existing. And something like that has no real value and to me it seems like many people here have no real interest in a real discussion about forever/blizzard, talking about pros and cons etc, but rather just vent their frustration about this thing even existing and blizzard making money.

And to be honest, if you are so deeply invested in something like this, yes maybe "touch some grass" is a good suggestion. It is a videogame.

Closing yourself off to a discussion because you don't like or agree with whats being said is not good for growth, maybe this forum isnt the place for you?

Is that what they made melee on octo? Is it melee on forever as well?
