There is an add-on that allows you to cast the line with one button and set the hook with another, so you don't need to aim your cursor at the float.
Is using such an add-on considered risky or safe?

The bite animation on this server is very poor: there is sound, but you cannot visually see the float twitching. This is highly irritating, and all players encounter this issue.

Yeah turtle wow had the same issue with fishing.

That is allowed and not risky but be prepared to get bot checked so if you suddenly stop hearing the casts land then you should look at your screen.

Which Add-on is it? I hate fishing so much and anything to make it easier.. yes please
