Hunter Pet Follow Distance – Is It Too Large in OctoWoW?

Hello everyone,
I would like to bring up something I have noticed while playing my Hunter in OctoWoW. I am wondering if the follow distance of Hunter pets might be larger than it was in the original Vanilla/Classic WoW.
I don't know if this is an intentional change or simply a difference in the way pet positioning and pathing are handled, but the distance between the Hunter and the pet seems noticeably large to me.
As you can see in the screenshot, the pet is following at quite a significant distance from the Hunter. This may not sound like a big issue at first, but in actual gameplay it can cause quite a few problems.
Aggro Range and Pathing
One of the biggest problems is that the pet can end up taking a much wider path than the Hunter himself.
The Hunter may be able to safely pass a group of mobs without entering their aggro range, while the pet, following further behind and to the side, takes a wider path and ends up entering the mobs' aggro range.
This can be particularly problematic in:
Dungeons
Raids
Narrow corridors
Mob packs
Patrols
Situations where precise positioning is important
It can also become a problem when jumping down from ledges or taking shortcuts. The Hunter can safely follow the group, while the pet takes a longer route around and may accidentally pull additional mobs.
So, my suggestion for solving this problem would be to reduce the distance between the Hunter and the pet, or alternatively introduce a new command, such as "Heel", where the pet follows the Hunter much more closely.
I think this would make Hunters feel more mobile and reduce unnecessary problems with pet pathing and accidental aggro, especially in dungeons and raids.
