Hello everyone,

is there a possibility to change the Game Client to German?
In TurtleWoW there was a translation that everything Ingame: Tooltips, Quest Texts, Items etc. all was in german.

I changed the launcher language to German, but it effects only the launcher not the game.

Turtle had a dedicated Team for the German Translation, Octo does not.

We do support a German translation now that you can select in the launcher! If you do find any issues with the translation please let us know, we have been researching ways to support community translation services as well.

its the patch-Z.mpq file copy it from ttwow to octo in data folder

Can you share the file that changes the language?

Yes when changing the language to "De" in the launcher the launcher itself is then in German.

But the Game is still in English.

Oof, I will look into that it should change the client and game and patches as well. Thank you for letting us know!

Unfortunately, I can't send private messages yet. But the German language file would be great.

For now you should be able to select a language in your account management section of the website which will translate the quest text and more. We will be getting the launcher updated with more language support SOONtm though
