I noticed that terrain that is generally uneven example sloppy beaches tall pointy hills sometime make monsters unlootable at all it is actually most noticable in beaches two specific instances come to mind where it happend a lot to me
1.feralas beach near the goblin but u go more to the bottem and cross the river most giants were unlootable and elementals too even before crossing the river on the beach some of them are unlootable(told a gm about it)
2.lapdise isle this is the new one i experianced near the beach with the humanoid npcs/crabs every mob i killed there was unlootable
when it happens it just keep happening no matter how much im getting on top of the mob or basicly inside of it i the looting icon remain gray as if its out of reach but right clicking does not produce "your too far away" error it just stay silent but the icon is the far away one (gray bag) i noticed i have to be at a really REALLY correct Y axis on the rare instances i can loot it (most of the time no matter how much i repostion its unlootable and nothing can be done

Note:yes turned off every addon and deleted wdb ofc to test this out

happend again when i logged back in to quest

this guy had the same issue and it sheds a lot of insighjt if u join a gorup u dont have this issue if u join it after getting the bug u keep it until you close the game and reopen it

nevermind did it in a group now both charas cant loot anthing

on telabim right now its stil happening on the murlocks

Been unable to re-create this one on our end, are you using any custom patches? How are you installing/updating the game right now?

i am yes using custom patches and dlls yes but even on a fresh no addon it happens i met another guy in discord who was having it the only conclusion that me and him drew was whatever causing it happens at mobs in the beach il try make a video to recreate it but for now i guess if anyone else had this issue the only solution is to close and reopen the game and keep doing that whats scary is if u get the bug u cant loot anything for the rest of your session i got the bug at the end of a quest traveled half the world to do another quest in winterspring and looting was still messed up there due to getting the bug in in gilijme

Figured out some new changes got this bug while lvling a new character and i tried to test disenchant i could not got the error cannot disenchant while looting so whatever this error is the game thinks im still looting something and its not allowing me to loot other things maybe?

happend again this time near the lava of brd looting an elemental caused the looting system to be screwed again my best guess is something realated to liquids
