Dear OctoWow Staff,

I am writing to appeal the permanent ban on my account Chudrick.

I understand that my behavior in world chat was inappropriate. I was participating in gnome-themed jokes that escalated into wordplay involving the term "gnoyim." After being warned by a GM (By Poisonasa or something Poison sorry I don't recall), I stopped immediately. I recognize now that even in jest, this crossed the line into territory that violates your community standards, and I sincerely apologize for the disruption I caused.
At the time of the warning, I even mentioned that I had just obtained my turtle mount which to imply I would stop as I had just put the effort into obtaining it and did not want to lose it, not as an excuse, but because I genuinely valued my account and had no intention of risking it further. I complied with the GM's instruction right away.

I fully accept that my conduct warranted a penalty. However, I am respectfully requesting that you reconsider the permanent nature of the ban. A lengthy chat mute or suspension would be a proportionate response that allows me to learn from this mistake while continuing to be a part of the community. I have invested significant time into this account and am committed to following the chat rules strictly going forward.

On one hand I do see that your account got a warning, and then a permanent ban 11 days later, which is a bit of a sharp jump in terms of escalation of discipline. On the other hand, see the chat logs below (all after the first warning). Your ban appeal is denied.

and the player that got Sulfuras mats got perma banned

Only if both parties are permanently IP banned would it be ok - if it´s just an account ban that that´s practically no consequences at all.

losing GM status and perma ban on a 60, meaning losing all progression and mats for Sulfuras is "no consequences"?
