Patch Notes 2026-08-27

Together Forever challenge can now be dropped by completing the "Closure" quest from Mirelle just outside of Rachet
D'Dossy distributed to more players
Gave ability for devs to live update quest whitelist so that D'Dossy and other pets can be added dynamically without server restarts
Companions are now automatically re-summoned after a flight path, teleport, and resurection
Improved in game polls to allow for more poll types in the future
New poll added to the Hardcore realm to shape the future of HC Death Appeals
Further improved logic handling drown prevention when transitioning between zones on transports

After Kara 40 will we be getting more custom content?
May I request the missing deathchargers from the donation shop and the red/black versions of the Vestments of the Shifting Sands in the shop as well?

Coming in with the hot pet change after giving us Ddossy. What a chad. I was hoping we wouldn't have to keep summoning everywhere XD
Just wanted to say hearth he stuck around, through the tram he stuck around but when I went on FP to Grim Reaches from Ironforge he disappeared.
Pretty sure it has to do with it getting outranged, I see him following for a bit but he's to slow

I sure hope we get Quel'Thalas with new items, weapons and armors themed after the high and blood elves, dragonhawk and darkhound tameables for hunters... and more!

Is this server side patch update or do I need to download the latest client again?

Suddenly my guild doesn't have an ID for MC despite us doing it yesterday. Is this a bug or feature? Would be good to know before we go for another MC tonight because we don't want to break any rules.
EDIT: Looks like people in my guild who did a pug MC yesterday night also don't have an ID so I think this is a server wide issue and not just us.

Can you finally give druids what they need the most? Something that TurtleWoW has persistently refused to add for some reason.
Please add the normal resurrection spell to the druid spellbook. TurtleWoW added Taunt to paladins but refuses to give druids a resurrection spell.

I notice the official website have started to listed current client version. I do hope it do the same on the client login screen too. The current client still show date May 1 2026.
