https://octowow.st/death-appeals/208 rejected 1 day ago

https://ibb.co/tT4jz6p8 level to 60 in 1 day after reject.

There was also revive after PvP death, but since there is no appeal lower than 20 lvl now I cant link it here.

Close it from community and revive whoever you want at your desire.

P.S.: By words in chat there is also was auto revive via ddos players who died from PvP, not from ddos. Can't confirm true or no, but we already have precedents for sure.

It is true that there have been 4+ PvP auto revives from kills I have done and after speaking with Ilililili he has also had 4+ PvP kills auto revived, the two that I've done that stand out to me are the following:

A rogue that was level 16 named Nihilizm that I killed around 5 mins before a DDOS attack. When he died, he was casting abilities and running in Crossroads with no problems. Another was a level 27 druid named Razom that was killed around an hour after DDOS attacks had stopped. He was also casting abilities and running around in Sun Rock Retreat with no problems at time of death.

When I voiced the concern to Kestrel, he basically told me if I wanted my PVP kills to stick, not to do them in DDOS windows because I guess they just auto revive everyone when these are going on. A death 5 mins before DDOS and a death an hour after DDOS is a large enough gap to justify no auto revive in this situation IMO.

Not only are the PvP auto revives a scam, there are people who have died of a skill issue in PvE and just lucked out and gotten auto revived because it happened to fall close enough to a DDOS window. Shit, I mean there are appeals that have been approved/denied that are questionable also. One that sticks out is the guy who auto ran into IF lava and gets revived with no video, or the guy that got approved with the dev citing "environmental damage" when it was actually PVP (Kestrel undid this one, but only after it was brought to his attention).

I appreciate what the devs have done here so far, and the current situation is shitty for all, but any revives need to be manually reviewed, even the ones that occur close to a DDOS window, because a lot of people are lucking out. The revive/appeal system overall has been pretty bad since the server opened back in April, honestly should just get rid of it all together.

I'll be taking a break for now until this stuff is sorted out.

That's joke. HC with autores. At turtle we died from rifters and great demons at capitals, from Watame, from every new patch, from hundreds bugs and exploits, and still was enough big to run dungeons and raids. Here we have appeal by any sneeze, and looks like cuz of ddos they just use auto revive for everyone, for rejected in appeal, even for those who didnt appeal judging by chat... And still they cry "oh no I was killed", "oh it was ddosbug for sure", "pvp hc unfair". Some whining "HC" circus.

There is rules in appeal - 20+ and video record. That's all. Just act by own rules. And even with record revive should by only by SERVER lag. Not players ISP, not by crushing cuz of his addons and mods. If you revive everyone - close appeal for view at least.
