Game Files won't open propperly; Game won't start

Hello there Guys n' Gals,
since the last update i've had the issue that no matter how often re-install or re-update my game files and / or launcher, upon trying to start the WoW.exe (no matter by whatever means) my system gives me various Error-messages.
They all state:
"This application has encountered a critical error" as if it tried to open a non-existant and / or non-openable file or non existant file-adress.
The refering file adress always points to some file in the ./Data folder of the game files. As said, no matter how often i Re-Download or Re-Update those specific files or the whole game all together, it always circles arround to some or another file for example patch.MPQ or patch-3.mpq or patch-4.mpq or any other file in the respective ./Data folder.
I have a slow, yet stable, internet connection. Maybe the solution would be to try with another more powerfull connection to ensure those files wont arrive damaged? I am out of ideas.
I rly would like to keep on playing my Cow Druid
