Reverse it. I can't believe this is coming from some octo GM. Edgy political themed names are understandable, but this is not in the spirit of twow, which had even more and even stupider funny toonnames without any issue. It's a fucking funny meme name. Once I read about Jerkmytotem's expirience I have literally lost all respect and hope I had in the future of this project. You simply read such names on world chat and giggle about the funny text associated to such silly named toons and then move on. This soured all my mood to continue here and stopped me dead in the tracks while questing. If you want to continue in the spirit of twow as it's true successor you'd do the right thing and reverse it.

this is not twow tho :D:D they banned me for *exploiting* scholo thingy wich on any other vanilla server and twow was allowed with no problems

on twow instead of banning for such an exploit in scholo with the floor they'd rather fix it instead of banning. there are still vids on yt which describe such methods. my favourite being palis with a million vampirism soloing strat.

I remember on ambershire the wildest schitzo lolcows on global, everyone loved them and their crazy talk, it was always good for a laugh while doing some boring quests. Like 'Poonslayer' spewing all this funny bullshit and getting egged on constantly. He never even slayed any poon atall lol. And he never had to change his name.

Ofc twow had the same chat rules, but obviously there is an invisible set of exclusions to it and they never were such draconian carebears as it starts to appear now.

I can't continue here on octo unless Jerkmytotems name is either restored or a GM doubles down on it, which would have me leave instead. I came here in the hopes to find the true successor of twow.

they should allow it imo just like twow did and all the rest of vanilla servers i bet even on wow forever u can do it freely

I understand the GM's initial decision as technically this could be seen as violating the rules.

I have re-instated the name as I don't find it to be "overly sexual", just reasonably sexual

We fixed it as well, but need to make it clear that exploits are not acceptable on this server, and that they should be reported to staff not abused for personal gain.

Other servers may have allowed this exploit, they also allow RMT though so it's kind of a low bar out there.
