OctoWoW is under a massive, sustained DDoS attack, and our core services are experiencing unprecedented disruptions. The situation is critical, and immediate, high-level intervention is required to secure our network infrastructure.

To address this emergency, our Head Developer, Kestrel, is currently en route to Iceland for an urgent, face-to-face crisis summit with the CEO of FlokiNet, our hosting provider. This meeting is vital to implementing advanced mitigation strategies and restoring server stability.

However, the situation has grown more complicated. Kestrel is traveling by ship, and severe, stormy seas have caused significant transit delays. Heavy waves and extreme weather conditions in the North Atlantic have slowed the vessel's progress, pushing back the arrival time.

As I said in a previous post, if this server is legitimate and the DDos attacks are happening this badly, they need to hire someone who can be even more malicious than the people doing the DDos attacks. If these individuals are determined enough to kneecap octowow from ever gaining traction they will succeed without meaningful intervention.

So far there was a good effort, but it's clear these individuals are not going to stop for whatever reason that is.

Hire me, I will build the great octowall and make Blizzard pay for it.

I think Kestrel just needs to unplug and re-plug the internet.
