mobs world respawn

Isn't the mob respawn rate too fast? When doing quests in a group of five, we can't play normally because the same mobs keep appearing every few moments, so we just stand in place...
Here's another example: I'm playing with two others, and it's the same thing. New mobs respawn every few moments, and we just stand in place—we can't move forward.
