I think it might be an easy to implement hit in Octowow. That is all

Personally am not a fan of it, especially the forced way it's implemented (must enter one, no way of turning them off) and am glad that I finally found an addon to hide it just about everywhere... So the RP people can deal with my surname of "AAAAAAAAAAAAAA" (or whatever random scramble of characters I smash in to that field) without me ever having to see any of it.

Some of you have no idea what's an easy vs what's a hard implementation.

Not only would this not be easy, it's also completly unnecessary.

Reminder this server had abig RP focus in the past. Whats necessary is not on a single person to decide. Every suggestion gets shit on here and then cry about pop if people move on cause they dont wanna deal with toxicity.

To OP they cant fix raid frames at all dont expect anything besides small tweaks and fixes. Just play forever if the surname is important for u.

The surname thing is something I've always associated with eastern MMOs. It is relatively common for those markets. It felt very weird to me seeing it in WoW.

I would be against forcing surnames, but maybe just allowing a space to be used in a name so people can RP with that if they want wouldn't be a bad middle ground.

I'm not a fan of this. Many big characters don't even have last names.

And there are roleplay addons to add that. It's completely unnecessary and imo messy feature.
