trying to connect

Apologies if this topic is a duplicate, feel very free to delete it.
I'm trying to log in at the start screen.
After briefly showing "connecting" it tells me "disconnected from server".
I tried using the priority option, but I get the same error.
What should I do?

I've the same issue. I'm a new player and the account has been created today.

I've had this issue as well. After serveral tries, it eventually connected.
This might be due to the realm or login server being full or overloaded.

Can confirm, I've just created an account, as of 18:00 GMT +1 I keep getting disconnected.
At 18:15 I'm getting Error: Failed to reach update server in the launcher.
18:30. Quack this, wasted time.

Same, it keeps getting stuck on connecting and then it says "disconnected from the server"
