rogue's prison mechanic question

GM, quick question:
Do Rogue's Instant Poison and Dissolvent Poison use PPM?
Are their procs solely based on weapon swing count, independent of whether the attack lands?
Can these poisons still proc on swings that are dodged, parried, or missed?
