BWL Approaching, Paladin 2 set bonuses

BWL is around the corner and with it comes T2 sets and bonuses. On Turtle WoW Paladins were notoriously toxic and annoying with the "Necrodin" build. They were able to use "Possessions of the Lost" set and by stacking T2 3 set bonus which would add holy damage to their attacks and for some reason this "holy damage" would count as a spell cast towards procing the Lost set. Paladins can stack 2 different T2 3 set bonuses to double this holy damage proc. We just had a poll about PvP and overpowered classes. This exploit of T2 bonuses seems to fall right in line with the PvP inbalance. No other class can manipulate Possessions of the Lost in this way except Paladin. I think OctoWoW should right the wrong Turtle WoW was too scared to fix.

I don't think this would work, it would effectively kill spell ret entirely unless the dev team wants to completely rework how spell ret functions without upsetting a mob. Only thing that would work is to nuke the lost set itself, not that I think it's a good idea because it's a fun and unique build.

I don't play paladin but I think it would be a loss to remove this interaction which I've always considered interesting. If anything, it's weird how it's only that set that procs it and nothing else. Builds using BoED cannot proc the Lost set or the ST chest piece either. But if I had to choose, I'd rather not remove this interaction that, to my knowledge, was fine but not OP in PvE. If this issue is due to PvP, then adjust dampening accordingly.

I really don't understand how shamans are running around one shotting people....Nobody can survive a feral druid opening up on them, hunters can spam viper sting entire bgs and make every clothie useless THE ENTIRE game, warrriors are stacking on people in piles sundering them to uselessness and this is what people are afraid of? Do you have any idea how much farming it takes to even be able to do this? I seen MAYBE two paladins with it on You know where.

Gilford has a good point and it's valid, but I think the issue of how toxic the build is needs to be addressed, i know it would require work, but the ghost pally build is INSANELY toxic in pvp and requires little to zero brain power. Gilford is big brain but half the pallies on the server can run this build with little to no effort and create such havok and make it so much less fun. Again, I think Gilford has a valid point but the issue itself needs to be addressed imo

There should be inner cd for summoning the lost like 60 sec. Having 6 those summons is just stupid exploit.
Its not only about paladins, but immortal paladins has most tools to abuse this obvious EXPLOIT.

Imagine being Paladin with 5 ghosts, being small size with Noggenfogger and having pet and cash-shop summonable NPCs.

Hidden advantage is that people can't target you.

you dont need the t2 3set bonus to do this btw, there are items already available that can do the same effect, like https://octowow.st/db/?item=55359 , https://octowow.st/db/?item=58209 , https://octowow.st/db/?item=17111 & https://octowow.st/db/?item=61332 to name a few
