OctoWow - Forums

If you had told me 2 months ago, that we were going to be DDoSed for over a month straight, and still have a community as strong as we do, I would not have believed you. And yet here we are. Thank you all for sticking with us through the tough times.

We are excited to finally announce that we feel the server is stable.

We are still actively working with Flokinet to fine tune our protections, as we don't expect the attacks to end. In fact we expect them to return in force after this post, but we are confident in our ability to retain maximum uptime now despite any attacks.

To celebrate this we are throwing an bonus EXP event starting now, and ending on Sunday November 1st at 00:01. EXP rates will be boosted per realm

2x for Y'Shaarj
1.5x for N'Zoth
1.25x for C'Thun

Looking forward to the weekend, and thank you all again for sticking with us. <3

Thank you for making this happen. OctoWoW <3

W octo. Give us altolympic event + buff dungeon exp ! <3

Congratulation.
Will this have any effect on character with Slow and Steady and Exhaustion challenge?

Glad to see 2x xp being tested on the pvp realm after the recent forum poll showed over 80% wanting it implemented.

Hope it brings good results and some much needed life to yshaarj

Are we going to get an update to the donation store as well? Seasonal transmogs etc..

Thank you so much for all the effort and dedication you are putting into this project. I'm very proud to be a part of it and of this community that is allowing me to relive the good old days of my childhood <3

Thats awesome, thank you. I am new to the server and I am really excited to start playing! I come from Twow, like many others, so finding the same love for the game on this server is just amazing. Thank you Octo Wow!! <3

Finally, time for the pvp realm to reach 1k+ players

Thank you OctoTeam

It has been very impressive to see how you all have navigated these issues and I am happy that this is the place where I have chosen to play. Thank you for the XP boost, this is going to be really excellent to have.
