Cross-faction play
- Fix an issue affecting some players preventing them from sending any mail.
Mailbox fixes
- Replies you receive from a Game Master via the in-game ticket system now arrive as a regular in-game letter — no more truncated text. If your mailbox window happens to be open at the moment a GM replies, close and reopen it to see the new mail.
Server stability
- World server restarts are now faster and more reliable. Both realms used to race each other through the same database upgrade list on cold boot, occasionally producing duplicate-key errors that turned a 5-minute restart into a 30-minute one. Only one realm now leads upgrades; the other waits for the work to finish, so restarts consistently come back up in a few minutes.
- The homepage's Realm Status indicator now reflects the real state of each world server. Previously every realm always showed green even when one was down.
Weapon Skill
- More weapon skills now show up correctly under your Skills tab. Some characters had been missing rows in the Weapon Skills section even though the underlying weapons still hit normally; there are still some display issues being worked through.
Forum & sign-in
- Forum sign-in and registration now go through the main website. The Login link on the forum redirects to the OctoWoW login page; the Register link is hidden. One account, one password, one place to manage it.
- New sign-ups choose a separate forum display name during registration — so what people see when you post on the forum is no longer locked to your in-game account name.
- Existing players whose forum identity got out of sync are routed to a one-time Choose your forum name page on next sign-in to set theirs explicitly.
- Duplicate forum profiles created by the old sign-up flow are no longer being generated.
- The rotating server messages have been trimmed and refreshed. The Discord/news plug, the Everlook Broadcasting Co. Radio plug, and a previously-empty broadcast are gone.

Fair play
- Anti-cheat scanning is now active on both realms. If you're playing clean you won't notice a thing; if you're not, you'll find out.
