We really need PVP Realm

I've always hated the absurdity called cross-faction. The principle of contrast is the only thing that keeps this game alive. The idea of the Alliance and Horde raiding at the same time bothers me. If a PvP server isn't going to be opened, please let us know.

I asked a GM earlier, he said due to lots of requests PvP realm will exist at one point he just didn't say when

"Thought we initially had no plans for a PvP server here on OctoWow, the outpouring of requests for one has swayed us!
We are in talks about what the implementation will look like, and how to divide up developer responsibilities/infrastructure allocation now. Nothing is set in stone, and this is just my opinion not an official road map or announcement, but we hope to have a PvP realm spun up within the next two months."

War mode would satisfy a fair few of us aswell for the time being

There is a warmode glyph that should be active and working from the glyph vendors in the starting zone!

pvp server players don't want to play cross faction, and warmode might seem like a good option for a pvp player but thats incorrect, most of us dispise warmode, pvp server puts us with our people.
warmode on pve server just fills my inbox with rage whispers and forces weird combat scenarios open world that are incredibly non lore accurate, like a alliance healing a horde in pvp combat.
warmode is no justification, also the turtle community views it as a challenge and its not a one time thing for us, us pvp server were born n raised on pvp realms and thats where we play. period.

Exactly. Warmode doesn't solve anything. The real issue is cross faction. Many of us just hate it: we want to play on two opposing factions, as the game is intended to be played. That's why a pvp ( 1x rate ) server is needed.

as a total pvp head i second this, pvp loses its "edge" on xfaction servers because everyone should feel as one where as pvp you need 2 sides to have that real sense of "competition" that drives the pvp players, else it just feels like helping your opponents gear up before bg's lol
also pvp on totally fresh server is the most dope wow experience ever because everyone is at same gear level so its overally pretty balanced and skill dependant unlike on older servers where gear tires can carry a lot of weight in pvp outcomes

YES PLEASE. Tel'Abim only failed on Turtle because it launched during the same week as Season of Discovery and NEVER recovered. It had a bad reputation all because of that. The amount of people on the PvE servers saying they'd be there "if it wasn't dead" was crazy. If a PvP server exists when OctoWoW actually launches it will actually have people playing on it for sure.
