In light of the community feedback, we have extended the ban permanently.

Thank you guys so much, I think myself and a lot of others agree that this sets a proper precedent and is genuinely a measured response in regards to the outrageous actions performed by this player.

[Whisp] Meatgrinder -> Bushburna : Bro, here's my plan. Tomorrow I'll tell the GM straight up we had a 1v1 duel and you lost. Then I'll admit I asked you for the materials and you gave them to me.

While a permaban from meatgrinder is probably the right choice, I feel like a lot more hate is directed toward him when the GM's actions were way worse.

The final disciplinary outcome matches what we anticipated. The Panda Guild regards this incident with deep shame. Moving forward, we will implement strict codes of conduct for all guild members and fully overhaul our internal management systems.

We sincerely ask all players and the GM team to monitor our guild and members going forward.

We offer our heartfelt thanks once again to the GM team for their fair and impartial ruling. We earnestly hope the overall server community environment will keep improving.

This was the outcome I was hoping to see. Putting the behavior of the player aside, leaning towards a 7 day was too light of a punishment and would have absolutely created a continuous situation in which people would gamble on "getting away with it", whatever "it" may have been in future scenarios. Not only am I proud of you and your team for acting with conviction in this case, but also listening to the community who clearly had an issue with it.

Despite how much damage meatgrinder caused, for himself, the server, and player relations, in my opinion there is still the matter of the GM who abused their power in the first place. That GM's actions are more insidious in nature and posed a much greater threat to the server, the project, the community, and your team.

If it hasn't been done yet, I strongly urge you, as a community member, to prevent current and future access to the server itself, if at all possible. Account ban, IP ban, etc, etc. This person deserves the harshest punishment possible.
