Transmog changes

I know devs have way more important stuff to keep up, but could it be an option to transmog cost bronze/silver/gold instead of fashion coins? Fashion coins still could be bought in the donation shop(if one exists again) for people who don't want to spend in-game currency. The Twow Transmog System was kinda hard for new players to engage with and have fun with this system.
I am aware that those fashion coins were dropping regularly in endgame instances, but both coins are tied to the character, and in the case of a player like me who's not interested in endgame content, i just make another alt character after reaching 60. I would love to see the fashion being money sink, either that or fashion coins being made account-wide to encourage people doing endgame instances for their alt characters.

I am aware of that, and that does not remotely fix anything, especially if that scales with player level. It's tedious, transmog is tied to an item, not a slot. If a new player gets a new item, they will have to repeat this quest several times if they want to change more than one slot.

Is this a genuine question?
How's the transmog system, which is based on a repeatable quest which asks to gather a bunch of materials that can be subject to price inflation by player demand, especially on fresh servers, and progressively gets harder to get with level range. Which you have to do every single time that you receive a new item, because it's item-based, not slot-based, is not tedious compared to the option to just pay a set flat amount of currency at the transmog NPC?

I really, really agree with this. I'm not asking for transmog to be made super easy or even for it not to be a grind - at the end of the day selling fashion coins is a source of revenue for the server and I'm fine with it. What bothers me about Turtle's implementation is the level-scaled part of it. Because of how significantly the cost of the repeatable quests is the higher level you get, the objectively correct way to use transmog if you don't want to spend real money is to make a character, grind/buy an enormous number of the relevant items for the lowest-level version of the quest on a high level character, and then mail all of the items to the new character and have them buy as many fashion coins as possible before they get out of the first quest bracket - and the level 50+ version of the quest feels like some kind of sadistic joke, where if you do it all at level 1 you only need to spend malachite but if you get an item you want to reskin in the 50s you need to spend a star ruby. That's silly, you shouldn't be expected to do something so unintuitive to use a server feature, and the feature shouldn't penalize you for leveling up. There has to be a better way to do it that doesn't incentivize doing something so roundabout to save real money. If you just buy fashion coins with gold or even if you remove the expensive crafted items from the quest requirements and just make them require a lot more generic materials (cloth/leather/etc) that would be way better. Still a grind, still time-consuming, less obnoxious.

You asked me how this system is tedious, I explained it point by point, and all you did was avoid all of my points, focused only on the minor, singular, easiest part, and you decided to mock me and tell go to play retail? Like, why are you even here lol?
What a great representation of community you are, very mature and healthy way to discuss potential changes here. Good job.

Likewise, you are getting triggered for someone else having a different opinion
and instead of DISCUSSING, you turn this into something personal, GOOD JOB
Plz do explain how linen cloth and wool cloth are getting affected by price inflation?
Yes, ofc go play retail if u want everything to be super ez
i played Turtle for years, like many others, never had any problems with t-mogs
