Proposal Regarding the "Reserved Loot" in Dungeons

The current "reserved loot" behaviour in dungeons is severely harming the game's natural progression and fairness. It negatively impacts player motivation and disrupts the core gaming experience.

To address this issue, I would like to propose a solution: High-demand items (e.g., Hand of Justice) should be identified by the system, and the traditional rolling option for these specific items should be disabled. Instead, if there is a player in the group who does not yet own that item, it should automatically drop directly into their inventory. This approach would prevent unfair gatekeeping and encourage genuine cooperation among players.

I understand your frustration. Do you not play a class that can tank? What is stopping you from forming groups without an hr?

I would much rather prefer individual loot and progression overall instead of the existing loot system both in dungeons and raids. That way one person’s progression does not impede that of the other. There would be no loot drama at all. Even though I understand it’s not popular and probably a “go back to retail” take. So I’m not really seeing what either you or I propose coming to reality because it would receive a lot of pushback. I guess spending years in the same raid trying to get 1 item is people’s idea of fun time.

Imo make your own groups and reserve the loot yourself, it takes extra effort to make a party for group content and I see the time and effort to get people together, barking, ect as fair justification to set an item as a HR.

Anyways if you don't like HR, don't join a group that has one!
