Hey, id love to get on and beta test, but can't download the client yet! I understand it is early days. Thanks

downloaded client like a 1 hour ago, and it works. i log on my character and lvld up to 2lvl

Ive got the same issue, hoping for a quick fix.

Yea I too downloaded the client, chose the desired path where it should be installed, but upon clicking "Install" it doesn't seem to be doing anything. I think the best way for now is to download the client from TWOW if it's still doable, updating everything, then going back to the Octo client, choosing path where updated TWOW is and letting it doing it's job. Maybe that way it will work. Will try it soon.

'wmic' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

OS Name Microsoft Windows 11 Pro
Version 10.0.26200 Build 26200

Will try to install WMIC back, since in this version of WIndows, it's not used anymore and it's replaced by Powershell (most likely). Will get back if it works or not and provide short guide "how-to".

Can confirm the OctoWoW client after WMIC installation is working. Therefore, here are the steps of how to add this feature back:

1. Open Settings → Optional Features
2. Click “Add a feature”
3. Search for:
WMIC
4. Install
5. Wait patiently for the message "Installed" and then and only then, close the tab
6. Relaunch OctoWoW client.
