unable to run update on launch screen

Hi,
Not sure if this belongs here but I am trying to install the launcher. Got everything downloaded but when I get to the launcher screen and hit "play" then "Update" I receive an error stating:
Error: EPERM: operation not permitted open 'C:\Program files\ACE.dll.part'
I looked for that location and it isn't available (not there). Does any body know how I get around this or what I have to do?
