This is nonsense. I only have 100 gold and I helped many newbies by giving them gold bags and helping them complete quests.

Do you frequently send significant amounts of gold to random players you have never met, interacted with, or talked to in game for fun? Personally I like to keep my gold for myself but maybe I'm just a scrooge.

Have to interfere here to ask, What amount of gear / money etc *is* counted as RMT? Back in TWOW / Epoch / any other pserver I for example have been giving gear that i can't use to total strangers (from real play in twow/Epoch: i see a paladin allmost dying to a mob, help him to survive, get "thx 4 help" msg & give green mail item i can't use as druid ), also sometimes small amounts of gold for lowbies (1-5 for talents) & bags after getting myself to a state of being able to farm gold steadily.

What is counted as a gift & what as RMT?

We don't want to reveal too much about our RMT tracking methods as it would likely make them less effective. That being said, we look at the context of each situation as in depth as we can to avoid punishing the best of our community while we go after the worst of it.

While we try to give as much transparency as possible with our ban appeals in general, RMT appeals will be significantly less transparent. We are not perfect and will re-evaluate all RMT appeals with more scrutiny than other bans. We recognize this may take more time for the community to trust this process, but are certain it will show its value/benefit over time.
