Y'Shaarj PVP - Phase-Based Progression System (lvl Caps)

Hello to the team and the community,
As a Classic+ server, OctoWoW has the perfect opportunity to offer a truly unique experience. To make this adventure even better, I would like to propose implementing a phase-based progression system with temporary level caps at levels 20, 30, 40, 50, and finally 60.
Here is why this format would be ideal for our server :
- Casual-Friendly & Ending the "Speedrun" Culture: A large portion of the player base balances gaming with work and family life. This system allows everyone to progress at their own pace without the constant pressure of having to "rush" to level 60 just to avoid falling behind the hardcore players.
- Emphasizing Classic+ & Low-Level Content: These phases would give players the time to fully discover and enjoy the server's custom features (new quests, rebalanced zones, dungeons, and professions) while optimizing their gear at each cap. This keeps the community closely knit at every stage of the journey.
- Boosting Low-Level PvP (The Choice of Level 20): Why stop at level 20 instead of 19? While the first Battleground (BG) bracket is levels 10–19, capping the first phase at level 20 puts players right at the top of the next bracket (20–29). This allows players to queue for BGs with a character that is fully optimized for the current phase, creating a highly active and competitive low-level PvP meta.
- A Proven and Successful Formula: This phase-by-phase progression model is currently being used by other major projects with massive success. The hype surrounding the announcement of each new phase creates incredible momentum and continuously attracts new players to the server.
What are your thoughts on this? Thanks for reading, and I look forward to discussing it with you all !
