RFK Light Sniff

I completed each boss in Razorfen Kraul, but was only awarded 7 tokens for a "fair, but light" sniff. It might be that one of the rare mobs is marked as a boss? I double checked that what I killed and looted each boss: Aggem Thorncurse - Boar Tamer Gloves, Death Speaker Jargba - Death Speaker Scepter, Overlord Ramtusk - Tusken Helm, Razorfen Spearhide (rare) - Armor Piercer x 2, Agathelos the Raging - Swinetusk Shank, Charlga Razorflank - Pronged Reaver, Earthcaller Halmgar (rare) - Whisperwind Headdress, Rotthorn - Thornlash Branch.

The only listing in Atlas Loot I didn't kill is the Blind Hunter (rare), so I'm thinking he's incorrectly labeled as a boss. Maybe willix is listed as a boss? I am also disenchanting and deleting items out of my bag as I progress, so I don't know if that's interfering with anything.

So I just sniffed Crescent Grove and got another light sniff after killing each boss, but CG has no rare spawns. I looted pretty much everything, including almost all the trash mobs in RFK, but it still gave me a "light" rating. I got a "good" rating from RFD, but I wasted 13 minutes waiting for another player to show up to do the escort quest to get that one boss to spawn. I think the rating is based on time, not actual completion of the dungeon. This should be fixed, since it just makes scanners waste their time in order to get the full tokens they deserve.

This is good feedback thank you for posting! There should be no issues with DEing anything, our main goal is for players to observe all of the in instance mechanics that they can.

This revealed a bug in our sniffer that I will outline below if you are curious.

Previously the sniffer was having issues where if a client had any latency spikes or momentary freezes (which does happen on turtle frequently in loading screens) while loading in, the sniffer was unable to set instance start time. This was making good sniffs report as poor quality. The fix we implemented detected when the freeze/lag/drop occurred and allowed the program to continue but corrupted one of our metrics that we use.

If you now go and redownload the sniffer this should be resolved! We do use other metrics than just time for quality, we do not detect which bosses you see but do detect things like new spells/scripts and combat events. We ask that the community prioritize custom turtle content so that we can get the data that we need but will be hardening the rating system if we find that we are getting a lot of sniffs that appear to be "gamed" to maximize tokens.
