Hi,

i got issues with the launcher on Linux;
There seems to be an incompatibility with running the launcher properly with WINE - no installing possible currently, since u end up in a loop when choosing the install folder - or being stuck in "Retry" instead of "Install".

I'll try now to install it on Windows and then copying files over to linux and try it again; But since Linux is getting traction and also many ppl wanting to play on Steamdeck, i guess it's in everyone's interest to fix this.

got the same issue on windows - am stuck on "retry" after selecting folder

i had the same issue and found a fix, go to windows settings and optional features, add wmic as an optional feature and then restart the launcher
edit: this was on windows and not linux

Amazing effort! Thanks! Also cannot install on a Linux setup.

Also on Linux and having the exact problem that was described by OP. Going to dualboot Windows to use this.

Is there a plan to get out a appimage for linux like twow had?

Same for me. Can't install it on Linux. Isn't there a complete client download available? A torrent would be nice.
