PVP server is being launched on June 30th.
Let's say most players will spend a month for leveling to lvl 60, so around August 1 there will be plenty of lvl 60 PVP players.
According to the roadmap, BWL opens on October 1. It's 2 months from August 1.
Let's imagine a true PVP player starts playing PVP (doing bgs, ganking, participating in some WPVP events). And some PVE player starts farming MC and gets T1 level gear from it.
When the PVP player and PVE player meet in the open world, PVE player kills that PVP player cause of the huge gear difference.
So PVP player got punished for playing PVP on the PVP server in this scenario.

My suggestion
Until BWL is out, just give us the opportunity to buy old blue PVP gear from PVP vendors.
When BWL is out, remove them and add the new gear.

not sure if thats the case, but pvp gearing should be completely separate from pve gearing, making each of the gamemodes completely optional (in 2026 or in vanilla+ [that plus must mean something, right ? a step forward in the right direction, an upgrade])
so i assume there wont be ANY pvp gear at pvp vendors before bwl ? if so... thats a flop

Without PvP gear, people won't play arenas or Battlegrounds; everyone will just be stuck in dungeons until October—even though it's a PvP server. We need a compromise for the interim

So basically what I'm hearing is you want no one to play battlegrounds. I personally don't think this choice is a good one at all. Please reconsider. Making new PVP gear for players is a great idea but not at the expense of those that actually PVP mostly and don't have much interest in dungeon spamming or raiding.

Please don't make me raid. PvP gear required.

Why do pvp players have to pve for pvp? We dont wanna do pve as a condition of pvp.
In 1st phase pve players have T1 gear from MC, and pvp player have nothing the same

Octowow has a chance to make their pvp server really about pvp. Please don't miss that chance.
