Dear Developers,First of all, thank you so much for stepping up and continuing the legacy of Turtle WoW. It means a lot to the community that you are keeping this incredible world alive. While we know that the current custom content was originally created by the previous team, we are really excited to see how OctoWoW will grow and evolve with your own unique ideas and content in the future! As you plan ahead, I would love to share a suggestion to bring a breath of fresh air to players running specific self-imposed challenges, such as Way of the Samurai, Travelling Craftmaster, and Vagrant's Endeavor. Currently, there is a noticeable shortage of reliable, white-quality one-handed and two-handed swords (especially fast-hitting or high-damage options like Katanas) during the leveling phase. This makes weapon progression for melee classes under strict challenge rules feel very restrictive.To bridge this gap and make Blacksmithing much more meaningful during the journey, I propose adding a progressive line of craftable white-quality Katanas (One-Handed) and Nodachi (Two-Handed) every 10 levels, up to level 55.Below is a fully balanced item list with fair, self-sufficient Blacksmithing recipes that do not require external professions:

One-Handed Katanas

Level 10 — Copper Katana
Crafting Materials: 6x Copper Bar + 2x Coarse Grinding Stone

Level 20 — Tin Katana
Crafting Materials: 8x Tin Bar + 2x Coarse Grinding Stone

Level 30 — Iron Katana
Crafting Materials: 10x Iron Bar + 2x Heavy Grinding Stone

Level 40 — Mithril Katana

Why this would be a great addition:Improves Hardcore Viability: It gives players on strict challenges a rewarding way to upgrade their weapons through effort and profession progression. No New Models Needed: The developers can easily repurpose existing item IDs and models already present in the classic client (like the Hanzo Sword or standard katanas/two-handers) and just assign them white quality and appropriate base damage.Perfect Economic Balance: The materials scale logically by tier and weight (two-handers require slightly more resources), ensuring they remain fair yet requiring a reasonable grind.Thank you for taking the time to read this suggestion, and once again, thank you for keeping OctoWoW so unique and exciting!
