Quest availability "wrong"

Many custom quests only get available when they're already yellow. All quests should be available earlier at least one level (orange diff) before they get yellow, as to support [Trial of Heroism] challenge.

It's Vanilla feature. Vanilla+ should preserve it and not adjust it to the custom challenge. Generally speaking... since your suggestion is also general. You might be right in some specific quests.

Take Tarren Mill as an example. This quest hub has both early quests in Hillsbrad and late quests in Alterac Mountains. Players would be overwhelmed with numerous quests if they were to receive both type of quests on level 25. So it's not always good idea.

Sure but wouldn't the clear level designation and red quest entry and different zone section in the journal be enough to communicate even to new players that these quests are to be attempted later on in the journey whilst allowing teams of more intrepid players to attempt them at far lower levels, thus facilitating the challenge?

That's why I think it would be overwhelming for new casual player who reads quests. I know some people don't read quests and the red indicator in journal would be enough for them because they use quest addons. But Turtle designed their Vanilla+ about reading quests.

Casuals read quest and accept it and then find out it's red so they abandon it. The result is that the casual player wastes their time of reading quest that he can't complete. That would be annoying in quests hubs like Tarren Mill.
