Do developers look at the bugtracker?

It seems that there are bugs being reported at the bugtracker but can't see any of the staff actually commenting or interacting with any of the posts whatsoever. Does the team check the bugtracker or are they solely focused on the full (turtle 18.1 content) release right now?
