Hardcore immortal title and mount removed from challenge reward.

I logged on today and it was instantly brought to my attention that the immortal title and mount have been removed from the challenge reward. What about the hardcore players who joined the challenge before it was removed? It feels like a contract was broken.
Players committed to the challenge before the change should still have the opportunity to obtain the mount and title. New players can embrace the suck that they didn't make it to the challenge in time. This way it's only fair and doesn't feel like a moral principle is being broken.
After all, it's just a title and mount... It provides no real advantage towards any content. It DOES however encourage players to take on the hardcore challenge.
Hopefully in the future devs will poll these decisions in the publics best interest. OR at least give a reason and announcement to them making a change such as this. Other than this buffoonery, I love Octowow and appreciate the thought and effort that has gone into it to make the game enjoyable.
