Account ban - Unknown reason

Hello,

First of all, I am not a native English speaker, so I apologize for any translation errors in this message.

Yesterday, I logged into the game, went to Orgrimmar, and was traveling through Durotar. Suddenly, I hit an invisible wall that kept rubberbanding me back to the same spot. It felt like a severe lag spike, so I decided to log out and log back in to fix it. However, when I tried to log in again, I found out that my account had been banned.

I want to clarify that no GM ever messaged me, appeared before me, or tried to contact me in any way. I did notice a random player following me when I was leaving Orgrimmar, but I was simply ignoring them.

I don't know exactly what happened, and I am currently awaiting a response from your team through the direct account appeal and via email. I would like to know how I can clear up this misunderstanding and resolve the issue.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

How stupid do you think we are? Does this type of shit really fly on other servers?

For those that are not botters, this account was reported by a normal player for botting and a GM confirmed it a few different ways (including the teleporting they are referring to as they likely have replay ability on their bots).

There are some other back end data points that back this up but we'd like to keep those to ourselves for now.

Friendly tip to all the botters/RMTers out there, don't waste our time with ban appeals when you know you are cheating. We do look harder when we get these appeals which leads us to finding more things usually. Extended the ban to your two other accounts o7

With all due respect, I truly believe this is all a misunderstanding. I was absolutely not botting. I was simply moving using the autorun feature, and a random player happened to be following me.

When the GM teleported my character, I genuinely thought it was a severe lag spike because I didn't understand what was happening at the moment. If a GM was testing me, I don't understand why they didn't message me directly to confirm if I was an active player.

Regardless, I sincerely apologize if it seemed like I was trying to bypass your systems or mock the rules; that was never my intention, and nothing could be further from the truth.
