As someone who used this addon on turtle wow, I think spy addon is great addon but it completely changes the pvp experience. It makes it so you no longer rely on your own perception, instead you are just watching if the name will pop up on ur screen, you click it and you are targeting someone from far away, who you probably wouldn't be aware of otherwise. Hunter is a class that has tracking spells, detect humanoid, detect beasts etc. This addon makes such spells not really matter much since you can detect whoever pops up on combat log regardless of the class you are playing. If you are a hunter for instance, you can't see where enemy is, you can simply click on their name on the addon to target them and send your pet after them to locate them, same for other pet classes. If you see a rogue you can see exact coordinates where he dissapeared, you get pop up when he goes and leaves stealth etc. I am all for quality of life improvements, addons that add QoL improvements too but this addon plays the game for you in terms of perception and I think kills the pvp dynamic and forces you to use it, otherwise you play at a disadvantage.
