Tome of Disguise - Druid form

Can anyone tell me if the Tome of Disguise from the Donation Rewards will work on a druid who is shapeshifted into a form? I would like to buy a Tome of Disguise but only if it will take effect over my druid forms otherwise it would be a bit of a waste.
Thanks
