Although the RP community is almost non-existent due to the server just opening, I would love to change that by bringing players together. An almost nonexistent RP community sounds less like a problem and more like an empty purse waiting to be filled.

Poor metaphor, perhaps. I usually empty those.

Still, I respect the attempt. Stories do not crawl out of the dirt on their own. Someone has to drag them up, clean off the worst of the mud, and pretend they meant to do it.

You may add Jape to your list.

If you seek friendship, approach with a steady hand and a sense of humour.

If you seek rivalry, approach with both eyes open.

Either way, I prefer people who make the world less quiet.

Whether that proves wise is a separate matter.

Chiming into this old thread, I gotta say... I'm exhausted going through the TTRP registry, or just trying to find people to get involved with.

People with profiles that come across as perverted (And I can't figure out how to hide those profiles/NSFW profiles in general).
People who seem like normal people that don't actually engage in Roleplay, or just don't respond when I reach out to them.
The LFRP/TTRP Chat Channel being nothing but coded spam.
And a guild that I found interesting is mainly operating in a different timezone than me, which will make playing together really difficult.

One thing I have to give TWoW credit for, is that the server cultivated a healthy playerbase that I could dip my toe into for when I wanted to play pretend.Now it just feels unplayable.
I wanna go on some classic adventures in Azeroth. Take my Orc mercenary and fight evildoers, get into a punching match with someone or anything, without the other person being a female with a kilbasa who's more interested in ERP than anything else.
