Molten core has many items that are just pure vendor trash but Vendorstrike stands out in the 22 year long history of WOW. I know its been kinda buffed a little on turtle/octo but still its bad compared to swords/maces.

Suggestion: Add +5 polearms and /or +1 hit skill to its stats.


That would make it a viable weapon for SP retribtion Paladins.

Not against the suggestion but i felt the need to point out that its a pretty good weapon for spellret paladins, the proc on shadowstrike scales very well with spellpower. So not useless.

99% of paladins are humans, and to take Vendorstrike which is a polearms you loose +6 weapons skill you have with swords/maces. So you need atleast 1% hit more.

Thats why most paladins wint take it, and would rather go with k10 mace

so it is just not bis. and it is fine. still very strong weapon for spell ret. and it is more than viable.

The ilvl, and consequently minimum requirement, were increased. I seem to recall the procs being boosted somewhat but I'm not sure if that's an accurate memory.

It did originally have a niche use as a 59 twink item, but I believe all raids were changed to require Level 60 at some point too.

unnecessary. when you bring an undergeared noob along you give them vendorstrike and they equip it over their blue. everyone knows this.
