UnderInquiry Regarding Multiple Accounts Playin the Same IP Address

Hello,

I am writing to ask a quick question to ensure I stay fully compliant with the game’s Terms of Service and protect my account before making any changes to my routine.

In the coming weeks, I will be visiting my family home. When my young nieces/nephews see me playing, I am certain they will want to install the game on their own computers and play alongside me.

While I understand that having multiple accounts logged in from the same IP address can sometimes trigger automated security flags, I wanted to clarify this situation in advance. When reviewing our accounts, Can your team easily verify that our login patterns, playstyles, and hardware signatures are entirely normal and legitimate?

Could you please confirm if playing simultaneously under the same IP address in this context poses any risk to my account, or if there are any specific guidelines/precautions we should follow? Or should I specify account names (in future) to you before this happens?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Best regards,

Thank you for reaching out to confirm and being pro-active!

I can confirm that we do have multiple ways to confirm the number of operators separate from just IP linkage. Your account may receive some additional scrutiny but any investigation in accordance with our internal policies will reveal that you are not braking any rules as long as there are multiple operators/players.

The only thing mentioned that we do not review is hardware signature as we feel that the client side anti-cheat software Warden that many servers use to do this (and detect other cheats) is a gross invasion of privacy and a severe security risk.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm relieved now.
