`Login notices show after the loading screen (#1809)` cherry-picked with no
conflict and still did not build: it refers to `crate::client_state::ClientState`,
the module upstream renamed `char_select` to in a commit this fork has not taken.
A clean apply is not a compiling one — the 3-way merge has no way to know a path
moved on the other side.

One line, no behaviour change.
