`the_worst_call_is_one_calls_cost_and_not_the_mean` reads both its
orderings off a wall clock, and the margins were too thin to survive the
full suite: it failed about one run in three, on an idle box as well as a
loaded one. One of the steady handler's ten calls would pick up a ~0.9 ms
scheduler stall and overtake the spike it is meant to rank below —
`self_us` 5109 / `worst_us` 1405 against the spike's 1398 / 1361.
Twenty steady calls instead of ten raise the window cost without raising
any single call's, and an 8x spike instead of 3x puts the worst-call
margin about four times beyond the stall that broke it. Six consecutive
full-suite runs clean, then a full gate chain. The doc comment carries
the measured numbers and says to keep both ratios, since the absolute
durations are not what the test rests on.
