Dear GM Team,
I am writing to sincerely request a review of my account.
I have never used any cheats, bots, or engaged in RMT. I only play on one single account and have never multiboxed.
My friend and I are real-life friends playing together casually. We did not receive any payment or rewards, so this does not fall under the rule of “boosting for profit.” We only played for less than two hours and ran one unfinished dungeon before being banned.
I have never received any system warnings or GM whispers. The so-called “multiple warnings” mentioned must relate to my previous ban, which was a mass automatic ban affecting VPN users and had nothing to do with my actual behavior.
I was banned permanently without any prior notice for normal gameplay that I did not even know was prohibited. This punishment is extremely harsh compared to actual serious violations.
I have invested a lot of time in this server and love this game. I truly had no intention to break any rules. Please reconsider my case, lift the permanent ban, and give me a second chance.

You cannot boost players who are partaking in the in game challenges. You also were boosting someone who was multiboxing. We have lifted the ban as it is possible there was some confusion around the situation, or at least on the back end we don't have sufficient evidence to indicate any wrongdoing. Keep in mind this account is flagged though so be certain you are familiar with the rules around boosting and multiboxing going forward.

After clarifying a few points with the GM who banned you, I am afraid the ban will be sticking after all. The ban reason is multiboxing against the rules on https://octowow.st/rules and challenge boosting.

The GM's state they did warn you more than once.

I’ve heard that a former staff member (whom many players have complained about) has been dismissed. It was this staff member who arbitrarily issued a permanent ban on my account without following official game regulations. He even blocked my secondary account that I used for submitting appeals. Despite all these unfair treatments, I still love this server and sincerely hope to be given a chance to return.

I’m deeply disappointed that you issued a permanent ban without fully verifying the actual gameplay records. The previous staff member who handled my case abused his authority and failed to enforce the server rules fairly, even banning my alternate account used solely for submitting appeals. This unfair handling has greatly damaged players’ trust in your server. I sincerely ask the current team to re-examine all my game logs objectively and give me a reasonable outcome. I still hope to continue playing here if my account can be reinstated.

please just ban multiboxing altogether aside from capitol activity. even summoning alts should go, they are also much less useful now with the world boss change. you allow solo/duo players to powerfarm with multiboxing, make a heavy impact on the economy and make appearances in the world look absolutely broken when a normal player come across those who abuse it. emphasis on normal.
