Where did i say i use it in linux to start the game? i wrote that "when their launcher forces an update.." == I use it only to see updates / patches like everyone does.

Do you frequently send significant amounts of gold to random players you have never met, interacted with, or talked to in game for fun? Personally I like to keep my gold for myself but maybe I'm just a scrooge.

Oh the launcher "kinda" works for me, I just can't launch the game with it.

I installed the launcher with basic wine and it installed wow flawlessly, made mods etc as needed. But for some reason it's stuck in a "update" loop, meaning when there is changes (ie. i "accidentally" remove a ,mpq or ...

..Any info on linux version of launcher (running W version in linux is fcked up), or chance/instructions on how to modify twow launcher to work for octowow?
