Since Goblin NPCs in the world are neutral to both Alliance and Horde, I always viewed them in a way how Blizzard made the Pandaren - they were able to choose if they join either the Horde or the Alliance. I think Goblins should be able to do the same.

Are we talking about lore friendliness here? Because Forsaken Priest is not lore friendly, Blizzard just added it so more Horde races can have a Priest class, otherwise it would be only the Troll. Night Elf priest is also another one that is not lore friendly as the Night Elves in the old lore were ...

I really liked when Turtle WoW created some zones in the unused areas of the map, but even they didn't fully use them.

Places like Northwind, Hawk's Vigil, Grim Reaches, etc. They were nice, but they still left a lot of unused areas between them.
