Hello!

There were some good changes to rogue in 1.18 like Blade flurry going from 20%>30% Energy regeneration, but also some very bad ones that completely erased the raid viability of the Assassination spec. Specifically the changes to poisons.

Prior to 1.18 poisons were in a great spot. In raid ...

Go to windows system settings, then optional features, view features, see available features and add WMIC.
Restart the launcher
That fixed the issue for me


I still have the FrameXML issue after doing this.

EDIT: I am able to log in characters on a fresh install, but not on my old Twow install ...

I received this error as well when trying to log into a character. I Checked my interface folder and there is no FrameXML folder contained within it that I can remove.

I was able to resolve this by doing the follwing on Windows11:

>Settings >System >Optional features >View Features >See available features > scroll down and click the box for WMIC

It may take up to 10 minutes to install but the launcher was able to fetch and verify data afterwards.

Hello!

I'm very happy to see a continuance of Twow! I've downloaded the launcher and set the folder to my old Twow game folder but the launcher seems to be unable to download anything or verify game data. Is this a temporary server issue or have I done something wrong?
