Today we were subjected to 17 attacks totaling 238 minutes of active DDoS. We were able to mitigate 14 of these such that only 3 were able to boot already connected players. Our custom protective measures have helped, and successful DDoS attacks are now much more expensive to pull off against us.

Which is not entirely true, because i connect from there too and i had only problems for maybe half an hour tops, let it be one hour even. Never had to use an VPN either. And even then, there are enough VPNs with fullspeed 10GB trial periods every months like Windscribe. You will have plenty of time until these 10gb run out if you just route the client traffic through it.

Also to call what they did/or what it caused a disaster, just you happened to under the people being affected by these partial disconnects is outright disingenious.
