Game wont launch despite adding exclusions

Hi

Old turtle new octo player here.

Right, so I tried to install the game. I was prompted to allow aria through defender which I did. Ran the launcher installer as admin.

Update was done and I got this green play prompt. However, after clicking play, launcher dissapears for a second and gets back to launcher without launching the game. Tried launching wow exe file from octomap as admin, nothing happens.

Removed app, deleted folder and reinstalled the game. This time I added the octowow folder as an exclusion in defender. Still nothing. I got this: (https://imgur.com/a/fEjVwdF) pop up from launcher that windows blocked some of files and what I presume is some UAC setting that needs to be approved. Clicked on "allow through antiviruses" but got the "windows did not grant permission" below right after.

Post second installation, no UAC window popped up that required approval and Im back to square one where launcher stops loading and goes back to launcher.

Any ideas what to do? Im running out of solutions.

Ps edit:
Windows defender stated that it deleted Trojan:Win32/PowExcEnv.RXH!MTB about same time I attempted my installs, I have no clue if its seeing some of files as threat.

After messing around for two days and disabling DXVK i finally made it to work.

If anyone else is in same situation, there you go.

How do you disable DXVK? Same issue I am having? Hoping that can be a fix.

Same issue here. I got the green play prompt. However, after clicking play, launcher dissapears for a second and gets back to launcher without launching the game.

I allowed windows to run all the files required (the very same Farbano posted in https://imgur.com/a/fEjVwdF)

But the launcher will just not run the game, i am stuck at the green play prompt.

Looking forward an update in this thread.

How do you disable DXVK? Same issue I am having? Hoping that can be a fix.

To disable dxvk go to: Launcher -> MODS -> [un-check dxvk box]

It worked for me, thank you all
