GMs don’t care about anything

I personally did not appreciate being threatened by a gamemaster over this issue while the server was experiencing massive ddos.

For context here is the ticket I opened to reach said GM, that seemed to have resolved the issue.

A GM by the name of Arlekino was trying to contact me earlier about a loot issue in a run earlier. Since I kind of assume what this is about I would appreciate if you could attach the following message from me to the ticket, or hand it to the GM.

The run was MS>OS, 2sr. I was confused by the warrior tank rolling MS on the mail chest with dps stats, as where some of the other raid members as seen in raid chat. I asked in guildchat if that item is ever a MS roll for a tank and going by the responses I decided to give the item to the second highest roller. There was already confusion about what constitutes MS or OS rolls a boss earlier about a cloth headpiece as can also be seen in raidchat. The warrior tank that this issue is about as I assume also rolled transmog (/roll 98) on a trinket earlier and then was confused about why he didn't win that item over someone rolling OS. I have to admit that the server instability and a general frustration with the warriors gameplay and chat behavior might have influenced my decision making at that point as seen by what I wrote in chat at the time.
If the GM team judges I was wrong in my decision making on not giving the warrior tank the mail dps items then I am fully ok with that and I appologize for the time this issue took up.

What about insulting russians? i rolled for one pants for tmog i dont see any problem to it lol. and yes its good chest for tanking. u dont tried asked anyone. u just write "yes fuck this russian". nice tolerance. and just ignored after. little kid

Neither GMs, nor anyone beside Adesta113 has pointed out, that this thread should be not about loot, but about breakibg the core rule of the world chat, which is announced on a cycle.

That Octo rule speaks, among other things, about being judged by nationality. That Octo rule says that this will not be tolerated.

Now, I see this situation like this. A guy needed a clearly dps mail for his tank warrior. He is clearly wrong here. Through we dont know, what the loot rules before the run were. Okay, lets suppose the default varinat MS>OS>TM. So what? Happens in many parties and raids. I repeat, I think this is wrong decision of the tank warrior. Ignore him if you want.

BUT

None of you wants to discuss the real matter of his post - a straightforward insult on the basis of nationalty. He showed you screenshots. Why are you trying to evade this matter?

I am asking Kestrel too. Because i've seen dozens of times, when it concerns russian guilds, russian player speaking or generally the topic of Russia, how much hate there instantly comes in the world chat.

You know, why you, people, act this way? Because you were permitted to act so, and now you feel blameless and punishless for every sort of that behavior.

I would like to see how you, tough eggs, will behave in you own country in a similar situation. Probably will have your mouths shut because your own government laws will purge you for that, then community will "eat" you alive for such intolerance.

I highly recommend to raise this matter among Octowow admins, starting from this thread. If no action is taken then I will open new discussion for this.

If you broadcast something in a world chat, then this must be performed for all, not for all with exceptions.

Hate to break it to you, but Russia don't exactly have the best reputation these days. And I think the rules meant to protect oppressed groups don't really apply to nations. But I suppose you can try to stretch it and see where it goes...
