Character deleted or missing

After the server's repeated outages, when I finally managed to log into my account, my character, a level 20 troll mage named -Arami-, was nowhere to be seen in my character list. This led me to wonder if my character still existed, and I was able to recreate it successfully. So, my main character was either deleted or lost somewhere in space-time; I don't know. But what I do know is that I don't have my character. It's clearly listed as deleted in their database, but that would be the new character created, not the old one, the same level 20 character that would cease to exist after the crashes. I should clarify that I had another problem before my character ceased to exist, and that was that when I tried to log into my account, it wouldn't let me; it said that the data entered was incorrect, as if the account didn't exist, which made me change the password when it gave me the option.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue. All of my characters appear to be gone from my account when I log in. Looking for some clarification on if this is temporary or if everything I've done so far was simply lost forever.
